Ms. Beatrice Gacengo

Programme Specialist, Online Child Sexual Exploitation, ECPAT International

Ms. Beatrice Gacengo is a human rights lawyer who is passionate about child protection. She studied for her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Nairobi in Kenya and her Masters of Laws (, Human Rights specialisation) at Queen Mary College, University of London. In the last 15 years, Beatrice has worked with various organisations focusing on different child protection issues in  a number of African countries.   She has worked with Save the Children, World Vision and War Child Holland and most recently, she joined ECPAT International as the programme specialist for Online Child Sexual Exploitation for Africa.
