Mr. Henry Kabwe

Executive Director, Media Network on Child Rights and Development (MNCRD), Zambia

Mr. Henry Kabwe is a noted Zambian journalist and serves as the Executive Director of the Media Network on Child Rights and Development (MNCRD). He has earlier worked with The Monitor and the National Mirror newspapers in Lusaka, Zambia, specializing in child rights, HIV/AIDS, health, gender, environment, cultural and human rights. He has also worked as a Correspondent for the Voice of America. He is the former Chairperson of the Zambian Chapter of the Media Institute of Southern Africa and Chairperson of the Mulumbo Early Childhood Care, Development and Education Foundation and Publicity Secretary of the Children in Need Network (CHIN Board). He has also served as Civil Society Scaling Up Nutrition Chairperson and has served on various other boards. He serves on the Economic, Social and Cultural Council  of the African Union, a civil society organisation advisory organ of the continental bodyHe holds an Executive Master of Business Administration in Leadership and Wealth Creation from the University of Lusaka.
