Ms. Tina Lorizzo is a Director of REFORMAR- Research for Mozambique, an organisation working on criminal justice and human rights issues in Lusophone Africa. She is a research associate with Africa Criminal Justice Reform at the University of Western Cape, South Africa, and PhD candidate with the Centre for Comparative Law in Africa at the University of Cape Town. She focuses on prison reform; police and policing in Lusophone Africa and, in particular, issues such as pre-trial detention, prohibition and prevention of torture, juvenile justice, constitutionality of the criminal legislation and customary law.
