Dr. Remember Miamingi is the Child Security Advisor at the Peace and Security Department of the African Union Commission. He studied human rights at the University of Pretoria. He has extensive experience in PanAfrican advocacy and human rights-related issues. He has been a Promoter for the Pan-African Centre for the Study and Support of Family (PACSSF) since October 2014. The PACSSF is an African research and policy platform committed to putting family wellbeing at the heart of sustainability development policies in Africa. PACSSF's theory of change: “Through research, PACSSF will foster sustainable democracy and development in Africa through improving family wellbeing by filling gaps in knowledge that currently constraint the way policy makers in Africa see and treat family wellbeing in policies.”
